Australian International Sourcing Fair / China Clothing and Textiles Expo

Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, Sydney - 22 to 24 November 2011

Propress Steamers were again hard at work on the set up day of the Sourcing Fair / China Expo at Dalring Harbour on the 21/11/2011. The fair groups over 380 exhibitors, mainly from Asia, and is the biggest international sourcing event in Australasia.

"It is a very good steamer" was the often repeated comment, with a smile,  from those exhibitors who hired a Propress Steamer to put the finishing touch to their stand. No doubt the time saved on setting up the stand will be put to good use as they visit our harbour city! No wonder they smiled as they returned the Propress steamer!

PROPRESS Steamers were official commercial sponsors of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. Our Steamers were used at every parade during this exceptional event, now in its 15th year!

During set up day at the recent
Fashion Exposed, we lent PROPRESS Steamers to any fellow exhibitor who needed one. We asked people for a donation, for the Qld Floods and the NZ Earthquake. Most people donated and we collected    $424 on the day. These have been paid to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal for $ 224, and to the Australian Red Cross for $ 200, for the NZ Earthquake Appeal. Thanks to all those who donated.

Scenes from Fashion Exposed  in Melbourne (29th to 31st August 2010). As usual, we made available Propress Steamers to other exhibitors, free of charge for an hour, on the set up day. 60 exhibitors used Propress on their stand, and an estimated 30 more came to our stand and used the 3 Steamers available for them.

We "fined" people for going over time, and collected $ 110 which we paid to the Australian Red Cross Pakistani Flood Appeal, after matching it dollar for dollar (our total donation was $ 220). Thanks to those exhibitors who voluntarily contributed to the appeal!
