The top of the range PRO580 Propress Professional Clothes Steamer gives up to 2 hours of continuous and consistent crease busting and cleansing Propress steam. It’s signature lightweight, polished aluminium nozzle ensures optimum performance and ease of use.

Ideal for smoothing wrinkles from dresses, suits, and shirts, it also stands out from other steamers with the ability to reach curtain heights of over 3 metres with ease.

The standby setting enables intermittent use throughout the day, with steam regeneration in 20 seconds. Perfect for bridal boutiques, clothes retailers, charity and vintage shops, curtain fitters and furniture manufacturers.

I have worked in high-end fashion retail for many years, and throughout my career I have used many garment steamers. There is only one that has truly stood out to me: the Propress.

He patiently answered all of my questions, made sure I received the correct model and colour promptly, and even sent me an email link with everything I needed to know about setting up and using my steamer for the first time.

I Love steaming

Effective

So far, I have used the propress just once - to steam a cord blazer. It takes a bit of learning to be able to hold the sleeves up in a way that won't create new creases, but in the end the job was done. The appliance has a small Union Jack on its water tank which is cute.

I'm thrilled with the purchase, it would be nice if the handle were a little less slippery when wearing the mit as this can be tiring when steaming a lot of garments.

Additionally the smell of the plastic is quite intense but I'm hoping that is because it's new and this will pass in time. As indicated one should steam in a well vented location so this helps to avoid breathing in the fumes.
